If you are planning a trip to Hyderabad but you have only one day to spare, then you have all the more reasons to plan even more so carefully and strategically. Of all the things Hyderabad is known for, it’s nightlife has also been creating a buzz in the nightlife scene of India, but if you plan on visiting the city for just one day, you will probably have to kiss goodbye to the thought of partying your socks off at one of the top clubs in Hyderabad. But you could always head over to the pubs or bars by evening to grab a beer after a tiring day of sightseeing.

For a proper one day tour of the city, divide your day into three parts for better time management and timekeeping – Pre Lunch, Post Lunch and Pre Dinner. Once that is laid out, you can make a list of the places to see and things to do and divide it into three parts and you can discuss the places covered and to cover over tea or lunch and set the target and time allotment for each site whilst having food.
Start with the sites within the city first. Visit the oldest and most popular monuments in the newer part of the city. Be cautioned that some of these monuments are hidden behind the high rises of the corporate buildings. You may have to go all the way around on some of the sites and locate them as they may not be visible from the main highway. After taking a tour around the city, stop for lunch and head towards to older part of the city. This part, unlike the former, has more sites in the open you can visit as part of your touring. It is easily accessible and makes for some great sightseeing. After you have visited all the places to visit in Hyderabad for one day, you can head over for dinner. If you have enough time to spare before dinner and your flight schedule do not force your to rush away from the city, you can manage to squeeze in a few pre-dinner drinks to loosen up after a long tiring day.
